About
Welcome to the second annual Cooper Cruise Challenge provided by the Okanagan Mini Coopers Group and supported by esententia.com
What is the Cooper Cruise Challenge?
The Cooper Cruise Challenge is a way to celebrate all the roadtrips you are doing in your beloved Mini. There are 25 locations around BC that have been chosen for this year's challenge, all you need to do is take a photo of your Mini in a place in that location that shows you were there. Once you have the photo, you then upload it against that location on the challenge website and you will score the points.
When is the challenge open?
The challenge will run from 04-04-2026 until 31-10-2026.
You can join the challenge at any time and upload your photos at any time, you do not have to be in the location to submit the photo, however we encourage you to do so.
What do I have to do?
- Register for the Cooper Cruise Challenge by clicking on register at the top of the page or by clicking here.
- Confirm your email address and verify your Cooper Cruise Challenge account.
- Complete your profile.
- Start your Mini roadtrips.
- Upload your photos.
- Enjoy!
How much does it cost?
This challenge costs nothing to enter and to take part in.
Why would I take part in the Cooper Cruise Challenge?
For the good old Mini life. For the trophy, for the glory, and for the fun... mostly for the trophy. This is another opportunity to drive your Mini (we could just stop there!), every entrant will get a unique window sticker/decal for their Mini as well as a personalised commemorative certificate with their Mini's name (or Team of Mini's names) and the KMs completed during the Challenge. There is also exclusive merch available to anyone taking part. Did we mention there is a trophy! This is the trophy -![]()
Photos
For each location in the challenge you need to take a photo with your Mini in a place that easily identifies that town/city and so there can be no shadow of doubt that your Mini is in the location. For example, you can take a photo at the "Welcome to This Town sign", outside the town hall with the town name on the building or with your Mini and the road sign showing the distance to the town/town center (must be less than 5km). It can be an iconic building or place in the town... just include your Mini in the photo. We're sure you can come up with many more ways to prove you and your Mini were in a particular town/city and if that's the case we will happily accept them and you'll get the points. We do stress that you do this safely, following basic traffic rules and common sense.
Keep that beloved Mini of yours safe (and you too, of course!)
If there is a photo where it is not clear that your Mini was in any of the locations, an Admin will reach out to you to check and clarify just in case you need to upload a new photo.
Your Mini MUST be in the photo!
All photos MUST have been taken between 04-04-2026 and 31-10-2026.!
The MAXIMUM file size for a photo is 8MB!
In a case where a photo is not accepted the Admin's decision is final.

Leaderboard
There will be a league table, what we are calling the leaderboard, simply a way to see where you are compared to everyone else doing the Cooper Cruise Challenge. The leaderboard on the website will be updated every day at midnight and also published on the OKMC Facebook page periodically so everyone can see who is putting the miles in their Mini.
Whoever is top of the leaderboard on the 1st November (the day after the Challenge ends, so as to give everyone the chance to upload their last minute photos!) will win the Trophy ![]()
See Tiebreak Situation below to get that extra location photo that is not included in the official challenege - You may need it!
Points
When do I get my points? Each photo uploaded needs to be verified by an administrator before you get the points that will accumulate towards your total on the leaderboard. Admins will check the site each day for any new photos so you will get your points and see how this affects the leaderboard.
How are the points calculated?
The points for each location are calculated as the distance in kilometres from the parking area on Main Street in Lake Country, to the center of the location across all 25 locations. Lake Country's Main Street is considered the starting point for each one of your journeys.
Why Main Street in Lake Country you ask? That is where all the OKMC drives throughout the season start from.
Yes, you will get some locations that are further from where you live to the actual location, but there should be just as many that are actually closer so it should all even out in the end.
If you visit one location via another and post the photo for each location you will score the points for each location and not as a single journey. For example, if you travel to Falkland and then continue on to Kamloops and then Squamish, that will be counted as three journeys and you receive points — from Main Street in Lake Country to Falkland, from Main Street to Kamloops and also Main Street to Squamish. It may seem a bit confusing, but don't worry we are here to help with the numbers once you hit the road and start accumulating points.
You score the points when you post the photo of your Mini at the location, if you get there in a shorter or longer distance that's fine, the points are fixed for everyone.
See Tiebreak Situation below to get that extra location photo that is not included in the official challenege - You may need it!
Points for Lake Country
Why is Lake Country set to 100 points? Think of it as a Bonus 100 points because we wanted to reward those who attend the various OKMC drives throughout the year. If you participate in one of the OKMC drives and you come to the official starting point then you get these lovely bonus points (as long as you get the photo that is!)
Bonus Points for the Okanagan Locations
If you visit all ten of the Okanagan locations you will get 300 bonus points. Why is this... well it's because we are the Okanagan Mini Coopers Group so it seems only fair to celebrate (and explore) our own back yard.
Bonus Points for Going to the meetups
If you attend any of the OKMC Meetups in any of the locations you will get 100 bonus points for each. Why is this... Once again, it's because we are the Okanagan Mini Coopers Group so it seems only fair to reward anyone who comes along to the meetups to join in and be part of the group. You must upload a photo of you and your Mini at the meetup on the day of the meetup to get the points. If you go to a meetup and upload the photo on another day the system will notify you that the meetup date and the upload date do not match, the Challenge admins will be able to verify your attendance so you get the points ** Do not delete the photo in this case ** Contact Support if you still haven't received your points after 5 days.
Can I use my meetup photo for the general location photo too?
Yes!
Can I use my general location photo for the meetup photo too?
Yes, but only if the photo was uploaded on the same day as the meetup and you attended the meetup.
Tiebreak Situation
In the event of a tie for 1st place on November 1st, after the final leaderboard is calculated, a tiebreaker will be implemented. Each car tied for 1st place will submit a tiebreaker location and photo. The car with the furthest distance between the Lake Country Challenge starting point and their submitted tiebreaker location will be declared the winner of the trophy. Tiebreaker photos and locations must be submitted to the Challenge Admins for review. The same rules for regular Challenge photos apply to tiebreaker photos: the location must be in BC and clearly identifiable in the photo for the distance to be considered valid.
Roster
When you are logged into the Cooper Cruise Challenge you will be able to see the full roster of fellow Minacs who are also taking part in this year's challenge.
Car/Team Number
If you choose to have one, your Car/Team number is your unique car number - think of it like your racing number. You can have any number you like as long as someone else in the challenge does not have that number. You can then choose to have your car number and/or your car name on any of the Cooper Cruise Challenge merchandise that is available only through this website.
